We are thrilled to introduce our newest member, Jim Seiwert, who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the Material Handling (MH) industry. Jim grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and currently resides in Lawrenceburg, Indiana with his wonderful wife of 34 years, Tonya. Together, they have raised six grown adult children, consisting of five boys and one girl. As a proud grandparent, Jim cherishes his five grandsons, ranging from 3 years old to 2 months, with another grandchild on the way.
With an associate degree in mechanical design & technology from Cincinnati Technical College, Jim embarked on his journey in the MH industry back in 2006. Initially intrigued by the opportunity to explore a new field, Jim started as a Product Designer, gaining valuable insights into designing and developing innovative conveyors and MH products. Over time, he realized the ever-evolving nature of the MH industry and its continuous transformation. At SRSI, Jim’s short-term goals include contributing to the development of processes and procedures, while his long-term aspirations revolve around helping SRSI achieve growth and become one of the leading integrators in the industry.
Jim holds a deep appreciation for the MH industry, recognizing its dynamic and adaptive nature. He believes in embracing technological advancements and automation to minimize manual human intervention and enhance efficiency. Joining SRSI has ignited Jim’s excitement, as it provides an opportunity to further develop his skills and be part of a rapidly expanding company with a dynamic culture.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys a variety of hobbies. He loves playing golf, kayaking in his community lake, and attending local sporting events. Above all, Jim cherishes spending quality time with his family and the five delightful grandchildren.
In the words of Jim’s favorite quote, “The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” Jim firmly believes in the power of collaboration and the collective efforts of the team to achieve greatness.
