We are delighted to announce the hiring of Software Developer, Patrick Atta-Baah! He joins the team from Raleigh, North Carolina; and fun fact, he was born in Liberia, and grew up in Ghana. He moved to the US when he was 15 and is attending Wake Tech College in Raleigh, North Carolina. There he studies Computer Science and Programming, part-time, to finish his degree.
Curiosity about robotics has fueled his drive to acquire more knowledge within the material handling industry. He is eager to be part of a company where the individuals he works with are highly capable of achieving greatness within the industry, therefore allowing him to learn and bring more value to the company from the knowledge acquired.
In the short term, Patrick’s goal is to learn as much as possible about the company’s operations, culture, and goals. He believes that this knowledge will help him contribute to the team more effectively, and looks forward to taking on new projects and initiatives that align with the company’s mission.
In the long term, he would like to work towards a leadership role within the company. He is committed to developing his skills and knowledge through ongoing learning and training opportunities. Patrick believes he can make a significant contribution to the company’s growth and success in a leadership role. Additionally, he would like to help the company expand its market reach and explore new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Patrick is most excited about the company’s commitment to sustainability and technological advancement, he is also impressed by the company’s reputation for innovation and quality, and is eager to contribute his skills and expertise to help SRSI continue to grow and succeed in the future.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys fitness and the outdoors. You can usually find him in the gym, practicing Tae Kwan Do, weightlifting, going for a run, hiking, etc. He is relocating to the Crested Butte office this spring and is looking forward to snowboarding.
